The Cardiovascular and Metabolism Disease area of the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research is recruiting scientists to perform experiments that characterize the interactions of novel molecular modulators with drug target proteins in pursuit of new medicines and scientific breakthroughs. This position requires interactions with colleagues in an interdisciplinary and collaborative research environment. Applicants should have previous laboratory experience and good written and oral communication skills. Preferred candidates will have an educational or professional foundation in protein biochemistry and enzymology but strong scientists from outside these fields will also be considered.QualificationsPrior laboratory experience developing in vitro enzyme assays, biophysical methods investigating protein-ligand interactions and automated high throughput assay formats is particularly desired. The successful candidate will have a B.S. or M.S. in biochemistry or a related field.
