Research Associate, Cell-based Assay Development

Description:

The RA candidate will be a key member of a dynamic research organization focused on protein therapeutics. The position will support programs in both research and development phase of drug discovery.

Job Requirements: B.S./M.S. in Cell Biology, Immunology or a related scientific discipline with at least 2-3 years of full time laboratory experience Extensive hands on experience with mammalian cell tissue culture a must. Experience in handling primary human blood cells a plus Experience with various cell-based assay readouts including cell viability, proliferation, reporter assay, FACS analysis, ELISA, MSD and qPCR Experience with transient and stable cell line generation and reporter assay development Hands on experience with BIAcore a bonus Good knowledge in mathematical calculations, EC50 & IC50 determinations, t-test analysis Excellent communication, organization and collaborative skills are essential Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
