Research Associate - Cloning and Early Bioassay Development

Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be involved in construction of plasmids for protein reagents, sequencing of immunoglobulins and optimizing cell-based bioassays to identify and characterize protein reagents and monoclonal antibodies in support of the company's VelocImmune fully-human antibody pipeline.

 

Education & experience:

- The candidates should posses a BS or MS degree in molecular biology, cell biology or a related field and have at least 2 years laboratory experience.

- Candidates should have experience in molecular biology (e.g. RT-PCR, plasmid construction, sequencing).

- Working knowledge of software packages for analysis of sequence data and practical experience is essential.

- Hands-on experience in devising and implementing cell-based assays is a significant plus.

- Must be able to work productively in a fast-paced collaborative team environment and demonstrate time-management skills.

- Excellent communication skills are essential.
