THE POSITION

 

The primary responsibilities are to prepare HRP, AP, CFS, Biotin, APC, PE and other conjugates for both production and research.  Other duties are to prepare, characterize, and evaluate denatured alkaline phosphatase, maleimide-HRP and other conjugate related reagents.  Covalently couple microparticles for multiplex assays, write and complete documentation, maintain laboratory notebook, attend project meeting, and work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.  May perform other duties as assigned.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Requires a Bachelors/Masters degree in chemistry, biological sciences or equivalent with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of conjugation, protein chemistry and ELISA experience with a Bachelor's, or 2 to 5 years with a Masters and demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles. Must be able to work independently.
