Research Associate III

Position Description:

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Research Associate III will participate in execution and analysis of experiments for product development/improvement. Biosite's current and future products comprise point-of-care unit disposable devices whose function depends on microfluidics, surface chemistries, and process control. As a technical member within R&D you will be working on the development of immunoassay products to be incorporated within the current platform and/or on the modification of the current platform to improve product performance and their transfer to manufacturing.

Qualifications:

This position requires a minimum of B.S. degree in bioengineering, biophysics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, biochemistry, physical chemistry, or related scientific disciplines. A B.S. with 4+ years or M.S. with 2+ years of related industry experience. Solid experience with immunoassay development and/or product commercialization process (design control and quality control regulations) is desired.
