Position responsibilities:
• Pharma Company is seeking a highly motivated research associate to join a team dedicated to the design, development and evaluation of candidate vaccines for immunization of humans against infectious diseases.
• The successful candidate will apply their skills in cellular biology and/or immunology, primarily toward the development and execution of solid-phase and cell-based assays to evaluate candidate vaccines, but will also collaborate on projects involving the characterization of virus neutralization in tissue culture systems.
• The candidate will have proficiency with mammalian cell culture, as well as FACS and imaging based approaches.
• This position requires excellent organizational skills, independence, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.

Position requirements:
• Proficiency in immunological assays such as ELISA, ELIspot and Luminex is highly desirable.
• Experience with various imaging techniques and instrumentation, including but not limited to chemiluminescence and FACS, is a distinct advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
• Desire to drive cutting edge science and make discoveries towards treating unmet medical needs are essential.
• BA/BS in Cellular Biology or Immunology with 1-2 years of laboratory research experience.
