Research Associate - In Vivo Specialist

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Biology department as a Research Associate. The main responsibility for this position is organization of and participation in the daily pre-clinical activities. All basic small animal experimentation skills will be utilized including test article administration by multiple routes (i.v., s.c., i.p., p.o.), blood and tissue collection, surgical techniques, and necropsy. In addition, this position will be responsible for ex vivo to support all of MediVas’ inter-related projects.

 

Requirements: Degree in life sciences with a minimum of 2 years relevant, post-degree experienceProficiency with rodent animal handling, dosing via different routes of administration, monitoring in-life portion of studies, and completion of post-life experiments and data analysis are requisiteCandidate must:Be organized and detail-orientedPossess excellent record-keeping and communication skillsDemonstrate flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously

The title level and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
