Research Associate - Molecular Biology - RA/88MON

THE POSITION

 

This individual will play a key role in advancing product development by utilizing established procedures for recombinant protein expression in eucaryotic cells.  Job duties include cell culture, transfection and maintenance of multiple cell lines, generating master cell banks, analysis of protein expression by Western blot, data entry into lab notebooks and computer databases.  Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Successful candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or equivalent with a minimum of 0 to 3 years of experience in cell biology and eucaryotic cell culture techniques.  Must possess a working knowledge of scientific principles.  This position requires occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds, prolonged standing and repetitive hand motions (pipetting).
