We are seeking a Ph.D. level Scientist I to be responsible for the development of innovative research tools and advanced applications of new technology plus current product lines in the field of molecular biology and cell biology. This position involves all levels of research and development, including the launch of new products in a timely fashion. The successful candidate is able to identify new demands of customers, plans and performs hands-on experiments, shows strong trouble shooting abilities and is able to perform thorough data analysis. The Scientist in the position has to be a good team player, able to work with other R&D scientists, other internal departments to maintain a research driven atmosphere.RequirementsA Ph.D. in molecular biology, cell biology or virology is required; plus 3 years of broad and current sot doctoral experience. Candidates need the ability to initiate and investigate new project ideas, plan and execute evaluations in a timely manner and to develop a project into a product. Experience in the life sciences reagent market and molecular biology assay development highly desired.
