R&D Buyer

 

 

Arizant Inc. is a leading supplier of temperature management products to the healthcare industry.

 

We are presently looking for a R&D Buyer to join our Purchasing Department.  The person chosen for this position will be responsible for supporting product development teams as the purchasing representative; managing the purchase of tooling and prototype parts; supporting product development activities during the concept phase prior to the formation of teams; providing guidance on working with suppliers to design components; sourcing suppliers for new components and assemblies; and ensuring that the company’s interests are protected in all supplier transactions.

 

In this challenging career position, the required qualifications are:

 

·  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and four to six years of related experience.

·  Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems required.

·  Previous medical device industry experience is desired.

·  C.P.M. or C.P.I.M. certification is preferred.

·  Desire and ability to thrive in a highly participative team environment.

·  Excellent communication and organizational skills.

·  Excels in a diverse and fast-paced work atmosphere.
