Retail Account Manager, Nutritional

Our Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Retail Account Manager to manage the retail channel partnerships on their behalf. The Retail Account Manager will work together with the Channel Manager to drive our Client's channel strategy and support plans for U.S. growth. Responsibilities include:> Being the lead in initiating, building, maintaining, and tracking retail account partnerships> Drive contractual process, alongside experts in Legal, with each retail account> Develop strategic account plans> Build and execute yearly merchandising plan with retailers > Track sales numbers from each region to optimize product placement> Identify opportunities for in-store trade promotion and partnership> Manage overall retail relationship and total lifecycle of product sales including sell-in, replenishment, promotional activity, account issue management, and pricing execution to maximize overall business opportunities > Actively communicate with retail partners and promptly resolve issues that arise> Develop a plan for retail placement targets that supports the goals of U.S. growth> Work with marketing function to brainstorm promotional efforts and initiatives to maximize retail channel salesIdeal candidates possess: > Bachelors degree > 5 years of experience in retail sales management> Account management experience with health related productsKnowledge and Skills:> Industry Knowledge – Good understanding of the product distribution process > Sales Techniques – Knowledge of sales methods, tools and concepts. Ability to build and leverage trust-based relationships with retail partners> Communication – Strong interpersonal skills desired. Ability to develop presentations, communicate ideas and data, both verbally and written, in a persuasive and appropriate manner.> Project Management – Strong skills in outlining and tracking key activities and related milestones, budget, timelineQualified and interested candidates should email resumes to rdunn@salesconsultants.org to be considered.
