SAP ABAP Developer

Review and assess Functional Spec Documents for completeness. Develop Technical Design Documents, Provide detailed estimates. Work on assigned objects utilizing System Development Life Cycle processes. This includes analyzing, planning, designing, testing and implementing development requests. Ensure adherence to appropriate documentation and programming standards, as well as the approved procedures for making changes to any SAP environment. Ensure that appropriate changes to development objects are updated in all applicable SAP systems/instances/clients such that those systems function as required. Resolve production problems. Accountable for successful completion of assigned projects and tasks.

Skills/Knowledge Requirements

BS Degrre with 5+years of recent ABAP development experience Experience with an SAP implementation, an SAP upgrade, and Production Support Experience working on 4.6C environments and above, preferably 4.70 and WEBAS 6.20 Strong technical skills in all areas of the ABAP Workbench, specifically: List, Interactive and ALV reporting BAPIs and BDC scripts SAPscript and SMART Forms User-Exits and Customer Enhancements (Customer Functions and BADIs) Performance tuning ALE/IDoc Interface Development Dialog programming ABAP Objects Workflow Experience analyzing production problems (logs, dumps, etc.) Experience researching and applying OSS Notes Familarity with Project Management Methodology Experience serve as project technical lead Experience with GTS, SRM, BW, SAP Portal, and HR a plus Good cross-functional SAP knowledge Good written and verbal communication skillsSubmit Your Resume Online Now
