SAP Business Development Leader

ERP/I.T. Leader for PerkinElmer LifeSciences, Global Operations Team.

Staff, train and supervise personnel that provide materials management/project planning support.

Design functiona/technical specifications for SAP manufacturing, quality management & procurement processes reengineering/design and develop user training manuals for training.

SAP project planning, design, testing, training & implementation for the SAP manufacturing, quality management & procurement modules for new site/country roll-out including staffing, if necessary.

Business contact & communication including attending global operations team meeting, etc.

Prioritize projects with user community including ROI, Cost/Benefit analysis.

Provide SAP post production support.

Apply six sigma methodology and tools to all projects.  Six-sigma basic training is a requirement and green belt training is recommended.

Ability to recognize flaws in existing business process and recommend, implement the required change. 

Possess an assertive personality with drive and high energy.  Display passion regarding action, driving change, solving tough problems and managing multiple deadlines. Excellent interpersonal communication skills include written and verbal.

Ability to think strategically and display flexibility, working effectively for business customers, other IT leaders and peers.

 

The ability to transfer key SAP knowledge and processes to the business owners.

 

A solid understanding both functionally and technically is required of the following SAP modules:  materials management, productions planning, quality management and inventory management.  A basic understanding of how these modules interact with the modules in other areas, (i.e. finance, sales and service) of the business is also expected.

Diverse and strong technical skills a plus.

Managing and actively participating in multiple simultaneous projects.

Business professional with extensive experience in SAP ERP.

Provide solutions for business applications in highly diversified industry segments.

Support global SAP (N.A. European/Asian) environments

Senior SAP production, production planning and procurement materials management systems analyst with at least 7-10 years experience in SAP production planning and materials management modules.

Exposure to multinational, multicurrency, multilingual global implementations required.
