SAS Programmer: Medical Technology/PharmaBoston Area Our client an innovative medical technology company is seeking an experienced SAS programmer to lead their programming, validation, technical support, and training efforts. Position reports to the Director of Biostatistics & Data Management, will guide the development and implementation of a complete SAS programming environment. Oversees technical operations on internal and externally contracted project teams including: § Programming resource requirements§ CRO personnel management and timelines§ Direct the creation of programming strategies and SAS code for applications designed to analyze data as specified by clinical and BDM staff Programmer will also apply expert skills in writing SAS code to produce listings, tables, figures and oversee the development of a SAS programming structure and environment for regulatory submissions and will regularly interact with Biostatistics, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Medical Affairs, and Project Management. RequirementsR BS in Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field and at least 6+ years of SAS and relevant pharmaceutical/medical device/biotech experienceORR MS or PhD with 5+ years of relevant experience R Demonstrated statistical programming in the pharmaceutical/medical device/biotech industriesR Proven project management and strategic planning abilities and be able to handle multiple demands and shifting priorities.R Excellent oral and written communications skills and presentation skillsR Occasional travel required.
