We have a Senior Human Resources Specialist opportunity available at our Carlsbad facility. Selected candidate will provide general human resource management support for the Carlsbad (San Diego County) manufacturing facillity. Participating with other senior managers to coordinate strategic and operating plans and objectives, the incumbent implements, modifies and executes company human resource management policies, programs and practices; provides counsel and assistance to all levels of staff on management and employees' issues, company human resources policies, practices and employment law; and interacts with management on sensitive matters requiring skillful negotiation and influencing. Attends daily briefing and other required meetings; supports Lean inititave through workforce planning and change management; coaches managers and supervisors on leadership behaviors; provides guidance related to performance management; assists in compensation planning and implementation; conducts training when needed; drives recruitment for exempt positions; serves as HR interface wtih all regulatory agencies; oversees Rewards and Recognition program. Requires a Bachelor degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in exempt, HR business partner role; highly developed skills in staffing, employee relations, training, and compensation. Must be able to interact constructively with all levels of employees. MUST BE ABLE TO RELOCATE TO A BECKMAN COULTER, INC.
