As a result of our significant growth, we have immediate needs for a Staff Applications Developer. The Staff Applications Developer position requires advanced technical knowledge, interpersonal communication skills, creative abilities, solid problem solving, and a high level of dependability. Must have strong interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact with laboratory and technical users in determining requirements. Strong analytical skill and ability to make decisions based on technical documents without constant direction. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, often with conflicting priorities. Complete lifecycle development experience. Additional experience developing web-based applications is highly desirable. Specific Requirements:? Bachelor?s degree in Computer science and minimum of eight years of development experience using Microsoft .NET technologies. ? Two years + in a bio-tech related environment. ? Strong back-end database experience (not DBA level) with practical understanding of triggers, stored procedures and other database objects. ? Ability to develop and test stored procedures.
