Sales Analyst - Job #2008A4NC

The Sales Analyst position is responsible for providing and communicating information to allow both sales and marketing to assist in problem solving, and communicate with the field sales organization.  This position will develop and provide sales analysis and report distribution.  Sales Analyst will interface with the field sales and Operations department vendors to ensure customer issues are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner.  Ensures accuracy of, analysis of, and the reporting of all sales and marketing information and data sources. Develops, maintains, performs calculations, and ensures timely distribution for territory, regional and national performance reports.  Coordinates the calculation of the field incentive program ensuring accuracy and complete compliance with the yearly plan.  Assists sales management with territory planning and ensures resources are aligned appropriately.  Participates in all aspects of the customer management system including working with IT to develop, test and rollout the system, and provide on-going support and maintenance. Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, science, computer science, or equivalent, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Access. 2+ years of experience in sales/marketing reporting, business analysis, business systems support, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience and/or and/or pharmaceutical/life science sales is highly preferred. Must have a working knowledge of business support systems and web-based application. Understanding of database structure and/or web page design or programming beneficial.
