Sales Compensation Analyst

Overview:

The Sales Compensation Analyst position is responsible for the calculation of the quarterly sales force incentive and commission compensation calculations and will work with finance and accounting on the monthly and quarterly forecasting of accruals and analysis used in the financial closing process. This position requires direct communication with people at all levels within the organization. The Sales Compensation Analyst will also be involved in other special or ad hoc projects as they arise.

Job Responsibilities:Responsible for all Sales Force Incentive and Commission Compensation calculationsCoordinating the approval process and coordination of timely payment to the sales forcesCalculation and recording of the quarterly incentive accrual and reconciliation of the payouts to the budgeted amounts and to the general ledgerDaily interaction with the sales force in responding to questions about the plans and compensationWeekly and Monthly Territory ranking and threshold tracking processDevelopment of Quarterly threshold developmentAssist with incentive compensation plan development and modeling as necessaryProvide assistance and guidance on special projects

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or human resources preferredAdvanced Excel skills are requiredSales compensation experience is highly preferredExperience (4 -7 years) equivalent level of experience is strongly preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills, experience with working with upper management effectivelyStrong project and time management skillsHighly organized and attentive to detailsStrong sense of urgency and work ethicAbility to handle stress, multiple priorities and deadlinesPositive attitude
