Sales Manager

The Hamilton Storage Sales Manager will be responsible for using previous automated storage sales experience to prospect new business, and identify, cross sell, and up sell opportunities. They will work to develop and maintain strong customer relationships, prepare and deliver sales quotations, and consult on and co-ordinate project offers.


In this position you will be expected to:Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emailsVisiting potential customers to prospect for new businessGathering market and customer information Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing salesConduct various prospecting activities such as cold calling and lead referrals, ensuring sales targets are met regularlyPrepare and present sales proposals for prospective clientsMaintain accurate records and logs in sales CRM toolRepresenting the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with managersadvising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotionsgaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirementsfeeding future buying trends back to employers


Minimum qualifications are:
Minimum of 4 years technical sales experience, preferably within the automation industryProven track record in meeting and exceeding quotasSolid understanding in solution selling and ability to cultivate strong business relationshipsExceptional communication skillsSelf motivated and energetic sales professional, with strong sense of urgency and a desire to succeedBachelors degree in business, communications, marketing, engineering, or related fieldTravel time expected 40-70%Work from home, East Coast or West Coast based preferred
