RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Focusing sales efforts on growing sales within the established customer base while generating revenue from new accounts.

·  Defining opportunities for new sales of AB products within the territory as part of detailed account planning and sales forecasting.

·  Developing and executing a business plan to meet annual fiscal sales goals.

·  Establishing and building relationships with key decision makers and economic buyers.

·  Working with product specialists and other local sales team to capitalize on product opportunities within the territory.

·  Acting as a primary point of contact for the customer in the field and actively promoting new product developments in the territory.

·  Providing product expertise with regard to market, AB applications and competition

REEQUIREMENTS

 Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or equivalent experience Requires at least 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the molecular research market including traditional and Real Time PCR consumables and instrumentation. 2+ years experience as a technical user. Must have the skills to effectively develop knowledge of accounts and key customers in the territory and have the ability to interpret customer's needs and identify solutions.
