Scientific Affairs Vice President (Medical Communications)

My client a leading provider of Strategic Medical Education and Medical Communications company servicing the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Industries is actively in search of a Vice President of Scientific Affairs. 

 

Qualifications: Ph.D, MD, PharmD in the Life Sciences or related area 7+ years of  experience in Medical Communications, Pharmaceutical Advertising & Marketing, Medical Education, CME Promotional and CME experience Client interaction/Client Oriented Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Staff management experience

Responsibilities: Strong Leader managing and overseeing the Scientific Affairs department including staffing, management, and motivation.  Aid is staff development and growth Develop and maintain existing relationships with CME partners Maintain and oversee content quality for all projects Provide Strategic Direction Ensure that services offered are cutting edge Provide final oversight for scientific content Act as primary scientific contact with company’s clients and with key opinion leaders, authors and consultants. Aid in pitch development, presentations, and proposals to existing and potential clients based on recommended and agreed upon strategy. Supervise and aid in the training, mentoring, motivation and management of the Scientific Affairs Department.
