Scientific Buyer

Promega is seeking an experienced Scientific Buyer to join our Corporate Procurement Team.  As a Buyer with Promega you will be responsible for partnering with internal customers to understand material requirements, developing creative material sourcing strategies, managing vendor performance and negotiating supply terms.

 

Successful candidates will have: 

- 5+ years experience in sourcing and purchasing in scientific material and related product areas

- BS degree in Business or life Sciences related area

- Previous experience with BPCS or other purchasing software

- Ability to function effectively in a team oriented environment

 

Preferred candidates will have experience with purchasing chemicals and other biologics; CPM Certification and the ability to foster effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
