Scientific Manufacturing Tech Writer - Marietta, PA - 12-Month Contract Opportunity

Yoh Scientific has a contract opening for a Scientific Manufacturing Tech Writer in the Marietta, PA area. Our customer is a global pharmaceutical firm engaged in the discovery, development, manufacturing and marketing of products worldwide. 

Key Responsibilities:
Develop new SOP’s and revise existing SOP’s for Site Technical Services Department from a pre-determined SOP list.  The majority are for utilities (Water For Injection, Clean Steam, Biowaste Systems, Air-Handlers, Plant Steam, Compressed Air Process), process equipment, preventative maintenance plans, and calibration procedures.

Basic Requirements:
• Prior experience writing and/or revising multiple SOP’s (could be for industry utilities, equipment, and processes).
• Prior experience in a GMP environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels within the organization.
• Able to interact in multidisciplinary environment including engineering, facility operations, validation, production and QCQA. 
• Ability to work in a high complex matrix environment.
• Capable of working without direct supervision.

Preferred Requirements:
• Technical Services experience in Primary and Secondary Vaccine Manufacturing.
• User experience with SAP.
• Authoring of SOP’s.
