Major Responsibilities:

A skilled scientist with a biochemistry / molecular biology background is needed to function as the expert support for manufacturing relating to molecular biology. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills applying the experience in biochemistry and MCB is a daily routine to assure product quality, availability and cost in manufacturing. This person will work closely with R&D during product development, supervise the transfer process to manufacturing, and then support product. This person will also function to stimulate performance excellence and continuous improvement throughout manufacturing. Requirements:

Experience and Education: Candidates considered will include those with a degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related field. Individuals with a BS,MS, Ph.D. and/or an appropriate amount of work experience preferred. Requires a B.S. with 5+ years experience, M.S. with 2+ years experience, or PhD with 1+ years experience Skills Required strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, product management, and Quality Assurance. Experience in the following areas is required cloning, PCR amplification and DNA sequencing with some automation and general genomic instrumentation. Experience in applications of molecular biology and technology development preferred. Good understanding of analysis software like JMP and Minitab with strong ability to disseminate large data through statistical manipulation is a plus.Submit Your Resume Online Now
