We're part of a team that's making a difference in the quality of people's lives.Think What's Possible.The Senior Scientist is responsible for the performance of a variety of routine and non-routine complex scientific tests utilizing laboratory apparatus, including the generation, analysis and recording of data, with less than daily supervision.. Major Accountabilities: This includes the testing of all active substances, raw materials (excipients) and finished dosage forms, including Stability. Individual will provide training to other individuals. Individual is capable of independently troubleshooting analytical and instrument problems. Individual is also responsible for assuring adherence to Federal ( FDA, DEA, EPA), OSHA regulations, cGMP's, SOP's, company policies and procedures. Individual will perform tests, validate the completed work of others, evaluate anomalous results, conduct laboratory investigations. They may develop/review SOP's and perform internal training. They may work independently on projects. The individual will comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and other federal regulations and company policies and procedures. They may assume responsibility of administrative functions in the absence of the supervisor.QualificationsBA/BS degree and /or equivalent practical experience.
