Scientist - Display Technology (SDT-2008)

Together with our experienced leadership, Adnectin products offer the promise of innovative treatments to individuals across a myriad of medical conditions.DescriptionIn this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to:• Play a leadership role in applying PROfusion display technology to create Adnectin therapeutics. • Understand the biology of important therapeutic targets and implement suitable drug discovery strategies based on PROfusion and Adnectins.• Participate in collaborations and multi-disciplinary teams to analyze and optimize Adnectin performance.You will also broaden your technical expertise by:• Design new selection strategies, including new methods of target display and new selection conditions.• Direct experimental design, and be responsible for critical analysis of data in the context of existing literature.• Present results internally and at appropriate scientific meetings. • Assist in the generation of patent applications.Required Experience• PhD or equivalent in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related discipline with at least 5 years of research experience.• Understanding the concepts of library design and selection using display technologies. Experience and a proven track record with mRNA display, ribosome display, phage display, yeast surface display, SELEX, directed evolution, or related technologies would be an advantage.• A wide range of scientific knowledge and a demonstrated ability to solve problems in diverse scientific areas.
