A globally recognized contract development and manufacturing organization has an immediate opening for a Scientist I working with Raw Materials, Bulk and Finished Product.  We are an industry leader in technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities.

Position offers a competitive compensation combined with excellent benefits and tremendous growth potential. This is a 2nd shift, temp to perm position in Lakewood, NJ.

Position Requirements:
• BS in Chemistry/related Science
• Minimum 4 years pharmaceutical experience
• Accurately generate data using validated test methods and SOPs in a cGMP environment.
• Demonstrate technical competence in the use of instruments pertinent to their core  responsibility as outlined below: IR, UV/Vis, GC, HPLC, IC, AA, Dissolution Apparatus, Compendial testing (USP EP, FCC) – ex. Monograph assay, limits tests, chemical and physical tests.
• Thoroughly review laboratory notebooks, ensuring compliance to test methods and specifications.
• Maintain training logs to comply with current SOP requirements.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Perform required testing at a pace to maintain batching and production schedules.
• Ability to perform cross-functional testing as required.
• Training of Chemists/Lab Technicians in methodologies where appropriate.
• Assists in reviewing SOPs.
• Assures that safety regulations are adhered to in laboratory.
