Scientist - (Job Number: 0805921) DescriptionJohnson & Johnson Consumer Products Company is recruiting for a Scientist, to support Technical Operations (TO/TA) for pharmaceutical products in Skillman, NJ. With direct supervision, the candidate will be responsible and accountable for providing technical guidance in Semisolids/Liquid or Sterile pharmaceutical product development with emphasis on the following areas: product development (scale up/process development), technology transfer, line extensions/marketed product support, validation and technical support, for new and existing semisolid and liquid products. Additional Technical support responsibilities include production investigations / complex troubleshooting in support of manufacturing sites. This individual will be expected to work in a team environment with other cross functional groups. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and developing accurate and complete documentation for FDA submissions and PAI inspections. This person will take an active role in team/project activities though hands-on participation and execution in ensuring that project goals are achieved. A minimum of a BS or MS in Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering is required. A minimum of 0-5 years experience in pharmaceutical product development is preferred. Experienced in the scale up and manufacture of products within Pharmaceutical production facilities with knowledge of Semisolids/Liquid Products is preferred. This person would be required to make project related decisions within sphere of influence. The ability to work independently and execute project responsibilities with direct supervision is required. This person needs to be a self-starter, detail oriented and a problem solver. Must be able to juggle multiple responsibilities to meet established timelines. NDA or Device experience is preferred. OTC product experience at a minimum is preferred. This position is located in Skillman, NJ and required up to 25% travel domestic and international.
