Scientist / Sr. Scientist – Pharmaceutical Development (Job Requisition 98)

We are seeking an individual with strong laboratory skills to work in the area of formulation development and characterization.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Develop and apply analytical and physical methods for the testing of various pharmaceutical preparations

· Evaluate characteristics of experimental batches

· Conduct studies to ensure compatibility of dose solutions with clinical components

· Manufacture aseptic research supplies for animal and other required studies

· Compile data for documentation and prepare reports

· Communicate findings to others and participate in planning next steps

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

· A BS or MS in a life science related to pharmaceutical sciences / biochemistry / chemistry

· A minimum of 3 years industry experience in pre-formulation / formulation development and characterization

· Industry experience with HPLC method development

· Excellent troubleshooting / problem-solving skills

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· A track record of proactively carrying through on assignments and meeting deadlines

· An outstanding work ethic
