Job Summary
With over 10 programs in preclinical development, Dyax is continuing to focus on building our internal pipeline of oncology and inflammation therapeutics.
Our Research and Development teams are looking to build an immunohistochemistry function in-house and are seeking a talented MS/PhD level Scientist with the expertise to implement imaging capabilities and lead histology analysis for our Cell Biology group.
Responsibilities
The main responsibility is development and implementation of immunohistochemistry, microscopy and imaging capabilities within the Cell Biology group. Extensive hands-on knowledge of routine histology, immunohistochemistry, microscopy and imaging especially fluorescent-based or confocal microscopic techniques is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will be able to perform routine staining of tissue specimens, review and interpret IHC and H&E stained tissue sections and develop imaging techniques. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and willing to learn advanced techniques, possess excellent communication and presentation skills and will be able to interact effectively in a team-oriented research.
Requirements:
Individual with a PhD in Cell Biology or related discipline, with 0-4 years of professional laboratory research experience or Masters with 10 years of experience in imaging, microscopy and immunohistochemistry is required.
Previous experience with in vivo experimental research is a must.
