Segment Marketing Assistant

I.        POSITION SUMMARY:Collaborate and support Associate Tactical Manager and Segment Marketing team to develop segment initiatives and programs consistent with overall business objectives.  This individual will take on a supportive function to Segment Managers.  Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of plan level sales performance metric dashboards and reports.  Provide analysis around business questions as needed to explain current trends.  Work with data vendors to research questions behind the data and communicate to key stakeholder internally.  Execution of segment tactics. II.   PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Analyze secondary data such as IMS PlanTrak, Verispan VOPA, Formulary Compass and Syndicated research. 2. Evaluate market trends and segment penetration opportunities.  Provide regular reporting to Segment Managers3. Participate in the development of segment promotional pieces (co-promotes, direct mail, etc.)  Facilitate approval process for Co-Promote requests.4. Track, Monitor and Report use of Co-Promote materials to brand teams5. Manage RAM speaker bureau and Managed Care speaker program requests6. Monitor and report effectiveness of marketing tactics initiated in segment marketing7. Support special project to answer key business questions working with outside consultants and vendors (HIRC, HSG, HealthLeaders-InterStudy). III. ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.        Additional Assignments as Assigned IV.   POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor Degree, Business, Finance or Economics Preferred (+) MBA or MPH Preferred.   Experience: 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.  Prior Managed Care or Marketing experience and knowledge of Pharmaceutical Sales a plus.  Strong analytical skills required.   Licensure/Credentials: None Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.  Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.  Strong PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access Skills required.
