Responsibilities include: Work independently and lead assignments/projects of moderate to high complexity following company SDLC methodology. Responsible for eliciting, documenting, and managing detailed requirements for specialized laboratory implementations. Prepare detailed requirements, design, risk analysis, and traceability documentation for R&D and Operations laboratory implementations. Perform configuration and specialized coding within LabWare Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) software meeting business and regulating body requirements. Perform detailed code reviews of consultants' work to ensure adequacy and compliance to 21 CFR Part 820, 210, 211, and Part 11. Direct the activities of consultants to ensure adequate development activities to support project deliverables. Prepare, review, and maintain documentation for GMP4 compliance levels in "as-is" status. Design, validate, implement, and maintain ad-hoc and custom reports using Crystal Reports v10 or higher. Interface, configure, validate and implement Empower software for laboratory data. Maintain Empower installations. Configure, support, and maintain NuGenesis implementations for multiple laboratory installations. Troubleshoot complex technical problem; Identify, research and validate standard and innovative solutions to issues, applying the concepts of appropriate methodologies. Demonstrate an understanding of business partner needs and manage business partner satisfaction relative to deliverables. Author and present, at all levels within the organization, written and verbal communications such as project status/progress reports. Research and recommend emerging technologies in areas of specialty where applicable. Assist in the development and execution of Disaster Recovery activities. Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Information Management, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field, plus five years of experience in the job offered related occupation. Applicant will need Pharmaceutical and/or medical device experience. LabWare LIMS configuration and custom coding experience is required, as well as Empower configuration, interface, and maintenance. Experience with NuGenesis maintenance and support, Crystal Reports v10 design and administration, as well as Oracle databases. Special skills and advanced knowledge of PL/SQL.
