EOE M/F/D/V Ethicon Endo- Surgery, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Senior Biostatistician, located in Cincinnati, OH. Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. develops and markets advanced medical devices for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. The company focuses on procedure enabling devices for the interventional diagnosis and treatment of conditions in general and bariatric surgery, as well as gastro-intestinal health, gynecology and surgical oncology. The successful candidate will provide statistical consultations and data-analysis support on issues identified as relevant to maintaining and improving business functions; develop, and advise on the implementation of, guidelines pertaining to the appropriateness and sufficiency of statistical issues for regulatory submissions, including review of studies completed, recommendations for studies to be initiated or data to be assembled, analysis of data to support product or processing claims, interpretation of findings, and responses to agency questions; provide experimental design and data analysis support for the investigation of healthcare economics, publications and clinical claims strategy. This is a Casual Part-time position 19.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a minimun of a Masters degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry providing statistical consultations to process-development and problem-solving teams. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: knowledge of methods of experimental design, data analysis, and statistical quality control; ability to use of SAS statistical software packages.
