Currently, we are seeking a Senior Clinical Trainer based out of our Princeton, NJ location.  In this position you will: •Manage the clinical Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for clinical research based training topics, for all staff in conjunction with line managers within LSDS NA •Evaluate training given and provide feedback and recommendations as a result of this analysis in collaboration with global training team. •Design and deliver clinical training in various formats to meet the needs of the organization. Recognize the need to develop training materials in line with increased numbers of remote based people and use of multi media i.e. video, CD, DVD, e-learning, Lunch & Learn sessions, WebEx and T’cons etc •Support the co-ordination of the NA Clinical training schedule - review and evaluate all requests for clinical research training topics •To provide Clinical Research training workshops for: New CRAs, Experienced CRAs CRAs new to Covance New and Experienced CRAsst/CPAs Project Managers Non-Experienced staff new to Covance •To identify individual specialists internal/external who would provide input on their `expert' topic. •To contribute to the induction process for Covance in NA. •To review/maintain standards and ensure worldwide consistency in collaboration with the Technical training team. •To provide and facilitate updates on the changing requirements in Clinical Research Training. •May be required to manage (directly or dotted line) other Clinical Research / Technical Trainers Travel: 20% international & domestic Experience Required: •A minimum of 5 years relevant clinical research work experience (CRA) •Excellent written and presentation skills •Strong interpersonal skills: pragmatic with personal initiative; flexible approach to work; resilient & enthusiastic •Self motivation and the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of work •Keen interest in training and employee development Preferred: • An in depth knowledge of clinical trials • Experience of working within a global business Education: Required: Degree in Life Sciences or Nursing qualification Preferred: Recognized qualification in training At Covance, we help make the miracles of medicine a reality.
