Senior Financial Analyst, Systems

Responsibilities include: Respond to issues per Global Finance System guidelines. Troubleshoot or recreate problems, understand and document in PMD database. Resolve or escalate and work with IT to determine process improvements, system fixes or enhancements needed.Assist management with defining enhancements and proposing innovative business process solutions to our continually changing business environment. Work with IT on implementation of new releases of software to users as planned. This includes defining requirements, testing enhancements, documenting and providing training materials to the users.Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system. Communicate and serve as a liaison between the business users and the IT group is the core responsibility of our support staff. Support includes month end close and planning cycles task such as running processes, updating organization structure, table maintenance and answering questions regarding data tie out and system processes.Have a comprehensive understanding of business processes, data flow, and systems functionality to be able to effectively trouble shoot and resolve issues; brainstorm to develop innovative business process solutions when new challenges(i.e. Atlas, AMD and ADC support) are presented. Follow project plans and timelines for testing and training documentation tasks driven by IT Project managers and their staff. Project plans are related to new systems or enhancement releases (i.e. WFMS cost change & Viva Client), yearend restatement (WDSS and Essbase), system rollouts of applications and new applications (Hyperion 9 and MDM).Learn new applications and processes to increase our ability support the finance users and continue to provideQualificationsBasic Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics. The successful candidate is recommended to have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 4 yrs financial analysis experience. Individual needs to have a technical aptitude. They should be experienced in trouble shooting issues, UAT testing, creating and providing user training, writing user documentation and have excellent communication skills. Also, the ability to switch priorities, multi-task, pay attention to details and follow up on issues is essential.
