Senior Formulator

Mylan Technologies Inc., the largest producer of generic transdermal pharmaceuticals in the United States, is a subsidiary of Mylan Inc. The facility located in Morgantown, WV currently has an opening for a Senior Formulator. The scenic mountain home of West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV has been recognized on several occasions as one of the best small cities in the country. The Senior Formulator will perform and/or assist in coordinating bench assignments involving various phases of R&D activity and perform and/or assist with the coordination of formulation development activities. The candidate will design and perform mixing, coating, drying, laminating and die-cutting operations related to formulation development, stability, and process scale up, design and conduct formulation development and optimization studies, design experimental protocols to prove scientific hypotheses, design and conduct in-house placebo wear studies, perform technology transfers, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in a Laboratory or Life Science and a minimum of 2 years experience in a related field.  However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Prior formulation experience preferred.
