This would include all of the basic skills outlined below, along with UV, conductivity, resistivity, and other more advanced calibrations of both process and bench top analytical equipment. Ensure calibration documentation is completed per GMP, SOP, CFR and Amgen requirements in a timely manner. Candidate will be a highly skilled craft person with an expert knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical and electronic instrumentation. Advanced understanding of process control loops, loop checks, loop tuning of process control systems, and the ability to troubleshoot computer based control systems (PLC, BMS, DCS, and HMI). Technician must be able to interpret loops sheets, electrical schematics, P&ID's, I/O wiring and panel drawings. Candidate must be able to constructively interact with peers and teams effectively. Effective oral and written communication skills are essential, along with intermediate to advanced computer skills.-A High School Diploma or GED-10 or more years of work experience-5 or more years experience working in instrumentation / measurement and control. -Be a registered apprentice in a related field such as instrumentation, measurement and control, or electronics. -Will have a minimum of 2 years of GMP-related instrumentation, control, and calibration experience.
