Senior Manager, Professional Marketing

Cbr Systems, the largest and most experienced (founded in 1995) newborn stem cell bank in the world, is looking for a Senior Manager for our Professional Marketing team.

This person plays an important role in developing strategies and tactics designed to increase the referral rate of Cbr Systems services from Obstetricians to expectant mothers. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the peer-to-peer programs implemented in educating healthcare professionals about benefits of cord blood banking and Cbr Systems.

Responsibilities:
Although this is a business service and not a pharmaceutical or medical device company, the business challenges to develop and expand an under-developed market are identical to many of the challenges faced in those industries. We expect that this will become more a part of mainstream medical practice in the near future, and your job will be to help create that future.

The types of programs include but are not limited to the, advisory/ consultant meetings, webcasts, and teleconference programs. This position will interact frequently with KOL’s in facilitating these events.

This is a planning challenge that requires strong analytical skills to position this service appropriately in the market, and it calls for highly scientific conversations and communication plans – particularly among thought leaders in the field. Everyone is expected to roll up their sleeves and work hard to deliver programs that will develop this market. That means setting up performance metrics, developing sales training materials, attending trade shows and working with agencies, among many other duties

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of marketing / brand management experience in either the biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries
• 2+ years in sales in either the biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries
• Strong analytical skills and evidence of market positioning experience
• Direct experience developing advocates and working with KOL’s
