Senior Materials Analyst

Due to our extended growth, we currently have a need for the following position:Coordinate fulfillment of order point materials and component requirements to ensure that production activities flow smoothly. Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day order point planning for materials to support Manufacturing and other areas as required. Provide support for all business aspects of SAP.?Maintain the orderly flow and supply of necessary disposable items to support production requirements based on the order point system.?Maintain SAP master data to support the materials covered under the order point system.?Provide SAP master data support for OM Operations.?Provide password reset support for the OM facility?Convert SAP planned orders to Purchase Req?s to be purchased by Global Procurement.?Review materials usage and adjust order point levels for materials as require to assure appropriate stocks while at the same time not maintaining to high a level of inventory.?Assist global procurement in expediting deliveries to assure materials are available when required.?Monitor and measure inventory levels and report results.?Monitor and measure Release cycle times for items that require QA release.?Receive, process and deliver materials request on a material Requisition. ?Maintain good communications with Warehouse Manager and staff to assure smooth functioning of the Warehouse.?Receive materials in SAP as required.?Dispense materials in SAP as required.?Support KPI and metric reporting as required.?Other related duties as assigned by Manager.Shire is committed to providing high quality, competitive, and appropriate health care benefits for employees and their families.Shire is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.Requirements: ?Bachelor?s degree in science or business-related discipline or equivalent experience.?1-3 years experience in a production, warehouse or planning environment?1-3 years SAP Master Data experience.as well as a strong knowledge of Warehouse management and inventory control.?Supervisory experience preferred.?APICS certification or progression to certification highly desirable.?Ability to function as a team player, as well as to take initiative ?Strong communication and interpersonal skills?Strong computer skills ?Excellent organizational skills.?Excellent math skills?Availability to work off hours as required.Apply to Shire
