US-CA-Silicon Valley/Peninsula Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Quality Assurance/Safety Reference Code: 665144 Senior Quality Engineer- RD (2 of 2) - (Job Number: 0711497) DescriptionConor Medsystems, LLC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Sr. Quality Engineer, located in Menlo Park, CA.The Sr. Quality Engineer will be responsible for providing quality engineering support for research and development projects. Assures that quality standards are maintained in all aspects of product development and production. Other major duties and primary responsibilities will include: Serve as lead quality representative for development of new products. Perform statistical analysis of data; write technical reports describing complex experiments or studies.Design and implement quality control process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques.Take a lead role in design control activities, including data analysis, testing evaluation, and risk analysis, biocompatibility testing, packaging studies, aging studies, and sterilization validations. Develop incoming QC specs and tests for sub-assemblies and raw materials. Monitor R&D supplier performance and implement supplier controls, including supplier audits. Support transition to production activities, such as efficiency analysis and assembler training. Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, quality systems, and FDA regulations. Bachelor's degree in Engineering combined with a minimum of 7 years medical device industry experience, or equivalent education and experience is required.Previous experiencesupporting R&D from a quality engineering perspective is required. Experience in design control activities is a must. Previous experience developing and/or manufacturing catheter/stent products are preferred. Previous knowledge with drug-eluting stents is a preference.
