We are looking for a motivated individual who will develop and implement glycoprotein analytical methods in support of strain, process and pre-clinical development activities . The incumbent will have experience with protein characterization techniques, including chromatographic separations, enzymatic digestions and protein deglycosylation. The position offers an opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of analytical biochemistry techniques, with opportunities to make significant experimental and intellectual contributions to our ongoing efforts in characterization of the biological processes for glycoprotein production. Specific experience with glycosylation characterization techniques using HPLC and Mass Spectrometry are required. Knowledge of peptide mapping, Western blotting, IEF, ELISA and cell based assays are desirable.
Qualifications



Qualified candidates will have a PhD/MS in the biological sciences and over two years of experience. Requirements include the ability to work and maintain focus in a fast-paced entrepeneurial environment, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, be a demonstrated team player and the ability to lead.
