Senior Sales Manager
MedAllies was founded in 2001 with the initial goal of bridging the connectivity gap between physicians and healthcare organizations (i.e. hospitals and laboratories) via the Internet, providing access to administrative, demographic, and clinical information. Over the years, MedAllies has evolved into a company that leverages Electronic Health Record implementations to facilitate physician office redesign to improve office practice efficiencies and disease management. Also, MedAllies is building and operating a Health Information Exchange (HIE) to increase the completeness of information at the point of care, increase care coordination between health care stakeholders and standardize quality and public health reporting. Our ultimate goal is to bring enjoyment back to providers practicing medicine and to improve the health of all citizens in our community.
MedAllies currently has an opportunity for a Senior Sales Manager located in our Fishkill office.
The successful candidate sells Electronic Medical Records (EMR) technology to small, mid-sized and large medical practices. Sell the company-provided EMR software (several different vendors), implementation, training and support for EMRs. Thoroughly understand the technology involved with multiple EMR solutions, as well as the basics of physician practice management, so as to use consultative sales and advisory approach.
Markets EMR software through trade shows, conferences, Medical Society meetings, Webinars, provider office education events/seminars and other appropriate sales and promotional opportunities. Develops a clear, measurable and comprehensive sales/marketing plan, with specific activities itemized, to ensure production goals are met. Provides direct customer service before and after the sale and ensures customer satisfaction with service and support by MedAllies. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (Marketing, Finance, Public Relations, Health Care Administration) or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
· 5 years health insurance or related sales management experience
· 5 years successful and progressively more responsible experience in medical software or pharmaceutical sales to physician practices.
· Experience of medical software sales cycles (6 weeks-3months) and deal sizes of 15K-150K is a plus. Prior experience leading sales team efforts is a plus.
· Excellent sales, negotiation and client skills
· High technology savvy
· Excellent organizational skills
· Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
· Proven ability to think outside of the box and contribute to the growth of the Company.
· Interacts effectively at all levels of the organization and customers’ organizations
· Can motivate and develop the team and build strong relationships across the Greater Eastern NY Physician Groups
· Able to set goals and objectives as well as develop plans to implement them
· Proactive in solving problems
· Understands importance of and how to achieve customer satisfaction
