We are searching for an accomplished Ph.D. level scientist to lead assay development in our growing expression product line. Experience in microarray technology, gene expression, and expertise in sample quality assessment are required.  Preference will be given to candidates with project management and industry experience.  Principal Responsibilities Manage a small team focused on innovative assay development and improvements for an established product lineManage transfer of process improvements to production groupsDevise solutions to complex development challengesPerform data analysis; work closely with bioinformatics scientists to contribute to the development of new analysis algorithmsDeliver training to internal and external customers; serve as an interface with customersRequirementsPh.D. in the life sciences, with a minimum of three years work experience as a scientistA sound understanding of genetic assay development, nucleic acid manipulation, and DNA/RNA hybridizationStrong data analysis skills Excellent communication, problem-solving, and management skills
