The Senior Scientist - Solid Dosage Formulation will plan, organize and conduct research experiments to develop solid dosage forms from early development to launch phase. The candidate will collect and analyze data, draw conclusions and establish development plans to complete all projects in a timely and compliant manner. The individual will document and review notebooks, prepare technical documents and reports. Assist Team Leader to manage multiple projects and drive development in a cross-functional environment. The Senior Scientist - Solid Dosage Formulation will prepare updates/technical reviews for preparation to R&D staff/management. The candidate will demonstrate leadership and people skills with a strong focus on interdependent partnering. A Bachelor's degree with 8 or more years of related experience is required. A Master's degree with 3 or more years of experience or a PhD with 0+ years of experience is preferred. Experience with pharmaceutical solid dose formulation and process development is required. Experience with laboratory, pilot and commercial scale processing is required. Experience in technology transfer is preferred. An in-depth understanding of research fundamentals is required. The ability to be self-motivated, productive and excel in an environment fostering a cooperative team approach to science is required. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Excellent computer and scientific problem solving skills are required. Experience with following GMP Manufacturing is required. Experience with following and writing SOP's is preferred. Experience writing technical reports and memos is required.
