You will help define our metabolomics strategy and will apply mass spectrometry based metabolomic approaches. These technologies will be implemented to probe metabolic changes caused by biological perturbations due to drug effect and provide further insight into the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic interrelationship. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and highly innovative function and will play an important role in advancing Genzyme’s small molecule portfolio. Basic Qualifications: Ph.D. in chemistry or biology with 6 years of experience in the area of metabolomics research or an MS degree and 9 years of experience in the area of metabolomics research is required. Two (2) years experience in the application of mass spectrometry for metabolomic research is also required.~hj~.
