Senior Security Analyst

The Senior Information Security Analyst performs hands-on management of anti-virus / spy ware, and other critical defensive systems protecting the company. Tasks include technical vulnerability assessments using security scanning tools, monitoring and reporting on access logs and enforcing policy, risk assessment and disaster recovery, among other related tasks as directed by the department head. In this role you will be required to interface with internal and external personnel, including external scanning vendors and auditors for validation and remediation activities.  The candidate will be an experienced Systems Engineer that has a depth of knowledge in the implementation and administration of systems and network security

Skills required: Minimum of 5-7 years of strong hands on technical experience in Information Security and security standards and architectural reviews including most of the following:Vulnerability assessment tools

• Active Directory

• OS level Security (Windows, Unix, Linux)

• Internet/Website Security (IIS, WebSphere, Web App Security)

• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

• Firewall technologies

• Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems

• Encryption

• Network security

• CISSP, SSCP, GIAC, Security+, or similar certifications is highly desirable.

• Cisco certified to CCNP or higher an advantage.

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

• Knowledge of Computer System Validation and working in a regulatory environment.
