Job Responsibilities: Genzyme Biosurgery is seeking a Senior Training Specialist for its Cell Therapies Operations facility at 64 Sidney Street, Cambridge, MA. In this highly visible role, you will train other trainers and evaluate other trainers’ skills; provide guidance and information to operations management on recommended training programs and trainee performance; and implement and maintain training schedules based upon departmental workloads and information such as SOP issuance, new hires, etc. Additionally, you will also manage departmental training files for multiple departments and multiple products; monitor and manage the production of training information such as employee training grids and qualification status (gowning and personnel); and participate in the management of developmental projects associated with the necessary training programs, curriculum, modules and documentation. Other responsibilities include:• Oversee and maintain all training activities associated with operation’s production across multiple product lines and multiple groups/departments.• Act as project manager for multiple training projects• Utilize team and resources to meet objectives• Develop and design training programs Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 6 years training experience or Master's degree and 4 years training experience. 2 years of biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device or life sciences experience and 2 years of GMP experience. Preferred Qualifications:Solid organizational and time management skills, proven project management skills, exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, as well as superior verbal and written communication skills are preferred.~hj~.
