We are seeking an individual with strong team leadership skills and excellent business acumen to promote Sepracor Sleep/CNS products to psychiatrists and neurologists in an assigned healthcare market through the use of effective selling principles and techniques.
Responsibilities
Your primary focus will entail taking an integrated leadership role with Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives to influence key opinion leaders and specialists about Sepracor Sleep/CNS products in order to meet/exceed sales objectives. Other responsibilities will include: providing daily reports on contacts, calls and sampling activities; leading advocate development at the local/area level as well as coordinating launch planning at the local/area level. You will be responsible for complying with all legal and regulatory compliance requirements established by Sepracor and governing the sale and promotion of its pharmaceutical products.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have superior presentation skills along with a demonstrated record of sales successes. A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or life sciences (MBA a plus), 2+ years of broad-based pharmaceutical sales required. Preference will be given to candidates with Sleep/CNS product sales experience, product launch experience a plus. Knowledge of third party payer mix essential. Requires the ability to work in a teaming environment and take on informal and formal leadership roles where appropriate in order to ensure consistent messaging in all customer relationships. Effective organizational and PC (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and sales force automation systems) skills are needed. Travel within territory required – may include both car and air travel depending upon territory. Some national travel to corporate headquarters, training and sales meetings may also be required on a periodic basis. Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside of normal working hours.
