Part-Time Service Technician – Gainesville, FL

As a Part-Time Pipette Repair Technician, your schedule will be approximately 15 - 20 hours/3 days a week. Your primary function is to perform OnSite Service including inspection, repair and preventive maintenance of pipettes at our client's place of business as assigned by the local Field Service Representative. Based in or near Gainesville, FL  this position will entail travel to customer locations throughout Gainesville, Tallahassee, Tampa and surrounding areas. You will utilize an electronic computer support system for entering service information and providing on-site documentation. You will develop and maintain a positive, professional relationship with key contacts. You must be organized, dependable, and able to maintain established administrative and reporting systems.

Qualified candidates should have completed some college coursework and must be organized, reliable, and have some prior sales or customer service experience. Familiarity with the laboratory environment is a plus.  Excellent communication skills both oral and written with some mechanical aptitude are required. Should have experience with word processing, database and order processing software. Must have valid drivers license, good driving record and reliable transportation.  EOE.
