Business Information Technology Strategy Deloitte Consulting's dynamic Business Information Technology Strategy extends and applies many of Deloitte's core strategy and technology integration capabilities to provide an integrated set of advisory services for the CxO. These services include aligning IT with corporate strategy, facilitating IT value capture, and improving IT performance, enterprise architecture, sourcing and governance. We help company CxOs improve the operational effectiveness and competitiveness of their organizations by leveraging information and technology to improve business operations, achieve strategies, and enable business models. BITS practitioners will advise clients on using information technology to improve business economics, improve business reporting accuracy, manage risk and create shareholder value. Corporate Strategy Corporate Strategy thinking at Deloitte Consulting is built around three themes; a simple set of frameworks for considering the present, and potential future, situation; the need for aligning data that describes the issues; and providing practical experience that helps the various CxO functions relate to, and participate in, strategy development. To do this we use a variety of frameworks, including Intellectual Asset Management, The Innovator's Solution and Value Management. Customer & Market Strategy Deloitte Consulting's Customer and Market Strategy Service Line assists clients with creating a vision for profitable growth, identifying the critical initiatives for achieving this vision, developing an integrated plan for executing these initiatives, and delivering the intended results. Our services address the broad range of marketing, sales, and service management issues facing our clients, as well as questions around pricing, product, customer, and market strategy. Summary: Deloitte has created a new service area, Services Quality, to demonstrate Deloitte's commitment to services quality with an emphasis on our methods, tools, and quality processes. The Methods and Tools team is chartered to integrate leading practices and standards in the use of Deloitte's various methods and tools. The organization is based on a matrix, where shared service functions will leverage expertise across different method products. This position will manage initiatives around developing the process coaches and training for the methods and the tools that support the methods. Key Relationships/Interactions: This position reports to the Shared Service Manager but works regularly with the Method Product Managers and Advisory Committee. Specific Responsibilities: Manage leading practices of selected proficiencies to new proposals and new projects Develop plan for coaches for each method that would involve sending the coaches on project sites to conduct specific training to practitioners Work with Shared Service Manager and service area leaders on identifying training needs across the various methods Drive and manage the training plan for all methods and tools Communicate risks and issues to respective leads Lead team of 3 - 5 Sr. Methods and Tools Analysts Communicate changes to methodologies to team members Work with method product managers to ensure that initiatives are in line with project needs Apply the appropriate consulting solution to support business objectives; Manages development of leading practices Leverage appropriate training techniques in diverse client settings Work with method product managers to incorporate method changes to training materials Manage all method communications including major upgrades, new method introductions and leadership updates Skills/Knowledge/Experience: 5 - 10 years experience in consulting or related fields, 4-year degree in business, marketing, or related field 3 - 5 years experience in training /adult learning, internal marketing or employee communications Strong written and verbal communications skills Demonstrable communications skills and experience in successful upward and downward communications to both general and specific audiences Management and/or leadership experience Executive presence and high energy Fluent English language skills Good conceptual skills Good organizational skills Experience working with global teams Ability to travel up to 25%Knowledge and experience in Deloitte methodologies preferredAbout DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
